Title Variation
Replace, change, or add some titles that don't make you do the SAME thing over and over again.
You have grind titles for PvE and for PvP you may as well introduce titles that go into BOTH territories so it would seem like less of an overall grind.
Random Title Name Here: (REMEMBER THIS IS ONLY A CONCEPT)
Rank 1: Kill 100 foes in Low end PvE areas
Rank 2: Kill 100 foes in Alliance Battles
Rank 3: Kill 100 foes in high end PvE areas
Rank 4: Kill 100 foes in Random Arenas or Team Arenas
Rank 5: Complete a Dungeon without dying once.
Rank 6: Win the Hall of Heroes
The Concept: Having titles that don't make you do EXACTLY the same thing over and over again to rank up. :/

What happens if u join a team and win HoH straight away? Do u go straight to R6? In which case this is a retard title, because FoTM noobs will get it reasonably fast, just need to keep going in HA and sooner or later they will win HoH. It seems faster to actually get r6 then some of the lower ranks.
Also with the killing foes for ranks, if they get rezed and u kill em again does that count? If so, does DPS count as a kill or not?
In my opinion you have a good idea in trying to make a title involving different aspects, however the way ur going for it isnt so good.

I like the concept, but you're going to have to give this a fair bit more thought before we can really discuss it. Really, those 6 ranks are very easy to accomplish, at least once you get a decent idea of what to do.

That idea is just bad and too easy to accomplish.

These numbers are too low for your idea to be given serious consideration:
Rank 1: Kill 100 foes in Low end PvE areas (Done in 10 minutes)
Rank 2: Kill 100 foes in Alliance Battles (maybe an hour to do, including the wait in line)
Rank 3: Kill 100 foes in high end PvE areas (20-25 minutes, tops)
Rank 4: Kill 100 foes in Random Arenas or Team Arenas (another hour's work)
Rank 5: Complete a Dungeon without dying once. (secret lair of snowmen - 10 minutes)
Rank 6: Win the Hall of Heroes (This one could actually take some time!)
As for the concept of a variety of tasks needed to achieve a title: Master of the North.

the is absolutely the dumbest thing i have ever heard, it would be more of a grind because you have to switch realms to do it, and change builds, and do different stuff for different track and stuff

That title combines PvP and PvE stuff... it's almost a blasphemy. It's worst that the allegiance title.
A title that has ranks for doing different things makes not much sense.
In the Master of the North rank each action give points, and you can make then in any order.
But that? What if you make everything in the opposite order? Would you get the title?
It simply can't be made in any way like that.

Master of the North?
Kind of a Big Deal?
As others have said I think these titles pretty much sum up the "random tasks" thing you are after.
Mixing PvP and PvE is never good either though, because both sides will complain they don't want to sink to the level of having to actually play the other half of the game.
EDIT: Sounds like the OP has been playing too much TF2 where achievements are listed in a similar manner... "Get xx headshots", "Use xx uber charges".

nope there are those of us who find AB craptastic, especially since it really does nothing except level up skills you cannot use in AB, and yes as others have stated if taking HoH is the max rank then its nothing but a free max title for every PvP nub in the game (I mean any idiot can take halls with SWay, Hex pressure balanced, or ISUCK)

Rank 5 should be switched with rank 2 because that is horribly easy, even without secret lair of the snowmen. Btw what defines high end and low end PvE?

I would probably have it end up being the spot where chests start counting towards treasure hunter. On that note, how long does it take to kill 100 Wardens, 10 min tops? With that switch, it might be better to have rank 2 be kill 100 foes in high end PvE areas and add a rank 3 with kill 100 bosses in high end PvE areas (which if you can keep killing the same boss takes about an hour or 2 (including zoning time). And I really think it is easier to do the boxing dungeon without dieing than the snowman one.

Pls, stop flaming this!
For the first time I read here about titles, this isnt the very crap though about a new title and/or easy way to get one.
MAYBE the ranks and things needed to get it are all wrong, all can be accomplished without almost any efforts (100 HM enemies, aka Raptor, aka, Vaettir :P) but he is putting the idea on something that's not just a grind grind grind did the trolley... (ups)title.
After slaying anything till Norn rank 10 without books, i am tired of this non-sense grinding. Ideas like this, (if implemented by Gw2Net, sorry, Anet) is what I think we need to have a entertainment purpose, not only to grind.
Instead of being posting all that "/notsigned, it's crap crap crap" things, think about some constructive ideas for this, like:
- Call it Adventurer ( lol, i'm not so creative)
- Make it character based (stoping easy KoaBD)
- Make it being achieved by points, like Master of the north, instead of ranks. Then you can accomplish whatever needed, and no place for instant rank 6
- Make it harder. Not impossible / boring, not too easy, like:
* XXX points, defeat Kanaxai
* XXX points, defeat urgoz
* XXX points, accomplish furnace quests
* XXX points, accomplish DoA quest (Mallyx, I think)
* Kill XXX bosses, on YYY zone (those elite missions above, f.e.)
* Get YYY item from ZZZ zone (same as minimoa, or whatever you can think about)
* .....
You can beat those in just minutes? I doub it if ya didnt finished already the quest/elite zones. Maybe you need to beat it again when this is implemented. You can say that Ursan make Mallyx too easy and you get in 2 hours, and you have a uber build that does urgoz in 1 hour or...... Hey, you thought about skill capping? If ya got a full map and the 141k needed. Hoe much time ya need to get the title huh? And is a +1 to Koabd...
Not grinding. Maybe fun...
If stupid and useless(for me, and only in my vision) like Party animal are implemented, this could be fun and not a grinding/money sink title.
And again, dont flame me, i just try to be a bit creative instead saying just a /notsigned
/salute all
